i agree with darchi about that, the flaming is getting out of hand as of late. totaluni, obieone, HOW, unifreak, and others have all been subjected to it by people unknown to them and its really kinda ridiculous.

while it is true that drewation and totaluni have really been cluttering up the forum lately with redundant (but unicyling related) posts, i think that a massive attack by forum frequenters may not be the best solution. so hopefully these two will read this and and calm down with their posting a tad and the flamers (hehe) will probably do the same. come on people, work together.

But doesn't it seem that there has been a recent influx of people who just don't think before they speak? It's annoying. And then some of them want to try to flame me because I haven't posted any vids. It's frustrating.

I think the forum has been more cluttered by everyone attacking drewation and total-uni, although total-uni does post a lot. Total-uni's threads have reached five and six pages, because of people flaming him and then him flaming back. But they are both learning. As for Obie being flamed by AllThingsUni and drewation, I think its a result of all the flaming hes been doing lately, and they were just trying to even it out. I could be wrong.

Also, I have noticed a lot of newcomers as well, but has anyone else noticed that there seems to be less people. Maybe people have left because there has just been too much not related to the uni. So like Trip said lets work together.

I don't think I ever personally attacked anyone of the new posters. I just disputed thier claims. Well, actually only total-uni, who I am on friendly terms with (we talk on AIM and he sold me a frame). I have no problems with him, I just wanna let him know hes wrong about some of his unicycle projects.


Allthingsuni and Drewation personally attacked me, completely unprovoked. They basically called me a poser, saying that I just post and don't ride. I never said anything to either of them. I don't really want to flame anybody. Anyone who actually knows me knows that I am a good guy, but I joke around a lot. i don't want to hurt anyone, I want to make everyone laugh and have a good time. But I don't want people to attack me. So I'll say it here:



Don't flame Drewation. But, Drewation and Allthingsuni, please don't flame me.

I think this happens everynow and then..eventually the people will tone down and the flaming will end.

Let's just do our part and give it some time.

I know I'll try to keep my rec.sport.unicyclign posts less chatty and more to the point and feel free to tell me when I get on your nerves ok? I can addapt And I think that if everyone made the effort that we could once again all get along.

Nevertheless, friendly flaming can be loads of fun.
