New Vans!

Yay! I got new Vans! I'm sooooooooo excited.....well......sorta.

Vans are the best. Especially the ones with the Off The Wall diamond tread pattern on the sole. The Off The Wall tread grips pinned pedals like nothing else.

Airwalks suck. I bought one pair of Airwalks for unicycling and they fell apart. The sole came unglued from the upper. Cheap construction.

DC doesn't have any shoes with a good tread pattern for pinned pedals. They may be good skate shoes, but they are not good for trials or muni where you're using pinned pedals.

With Vans you just have to be careful about the classic canvas style Vans. The classic Vans have a very flexy sole that is uncomfortable for drops and jumps because the sole is so thin. The classic style can be good for freestyle, but don't use them for anything that involves jumping. Vans with the diamond tread pattern grip pinned pedals better than the other flavors of Vans.

Vans are the best. Only skater wannabes wear DC shoes.

I got Globe 05s (i think thats what they are called) and they are really good for the pins on metal pedals.

Yeah vans rock do rowleys have the "off the wall" tread? even if they do not they rock for riding,walking in!

Yup. The Vans Rowley's have the Off The Wall style diamond waffle tread and they're good for unicycling.

lol obviously vans arnt girlsshoes because i hav airwalk, d'c s and emericas! (but my passion is not for the shoes but the shoe laces!

yeah i got some cool laces but they were to short :-(i used to have yellow laces in my emericas. That looked "off the wall" I have not had vans before but these are nice.I am not trying to no your shoes but i don't like that style of shoe.I had some reefs kinda like that i did not like them i like to have feeling through my shoes.I did not have that i i felt distant from what i was doing.Anyway i hope they are great and they look wack dude!

nice shoes laura, you have very good taste. did you ever have any of those checkered vans slip-ons, those are the best shoes. i have 2 pairs of vans old skools, one with flames, and one black with pink naked ladies on them. I also have 3 pairs of converse all stars, and soon to be 4 because im probably getting these camoflauge all-stars. by the way, I also have some vans TNTs which have the awsome unicycling off the wall tread. I also have three vans shirts and one hat and a off the wall sticker on my uni! one of my shirts has the off the wall logo on it. so im probably the biggest vans geek on the planet. do you have dyed hair too? i have green hair. oh and i bet you are a hot topic shopper too arnt you?

yes i do have dyed hair i dyed it red but it wasnt bright enough so back to the shops to find yet another dye but brighter this time.:p
and as for shopping???!!! yeah man anyday :p

dude at least you have a good obsession (but not as good as my shoe lace one) and not some little freaky obbsession :)

checkered vans slip-ons: dont have them unfortunatley but ther are awsome and deffo want some lol (when i actually have some money!) :D

I've got Saviers. Anybody ever heard of them? They were cheap, like $20, and were advertised as being good for skaters so I bought them. They work pretty good I think.

Saviers totally rock i nearly got them but i saw the vans rowley goodness next to them Saviers are really high tech skateshoes from what i remember from skateboarding days they rock dude!

Sorry, no camera. You can search for Savier Overton, I got the men's cuz the store didn't have women's, but that's OK I prefer fat sturdy shoes anyway. I got them in black/grey.

well i wear my emericas so often that they now have a hole in the front therefor are useless in the rain but i dont care !!!LOL :P

but you should see some of the skaters that i know's shoes! they can practically talk( where the front is soo ripped that you move your feet and it looks like the shoes talk lmao!)

but i use mine for unicycling too so mine have lasted pretty long!

I used to skate i used to let my shoes get really bad before i did anything about them.
The best stuff to get is shoegoo if u can find it it's amazing suff!

Shoe goo is this stuff that is glue for your shoe it really works wonders,

I used to ride vans i forgot what kind but they had that 1 bottom that are good, now im riding with e's which work well also. I have some cool circa's that are like 1 lace and really light and super grippy except they dont work very well, wow this was a sloppy post sorry guys. Oh ya john i dont know where you got the dc is poser where but whoever it was knew what they were talking about.
