at long last i finaly was able to get a copy of Battle Royale (http://www.battleroyalefilm.net/movie/index.html)!

it is very hard to see this movie since it may as well be banned (http://www.battleroyalefilm.net/movie/banned.html) in America. "land of the free"

it took me 4 years to track this movie down and it was well worth it.

Indeed, 'tis a truly genius film! It was actually aired on UK telly a few weeks ago, but was about half the length because of extreme cutting-ness... :rolleyes:

The bit at the end with the teacher and the phone is just plain weird...

what is so great about that movie is that its freakin sweet even if you dont get all the symbolism and meaning.

At the beginning? With words to the effect of "No talking!"? That is good, and also the "Oh, I forgot I'm not allowed to kill..."!

Quite disturbing in places, but a fantastic watch!

Hah, my friends band made a song about the movie. It is pretty bad quality, and was recorded poorly, but its still a pretty funny/cool song.
