Pedals

I was wonder what type of pedals people used, and if anyone used metal pedals. Also if it is a good idea to replace plastic pedals with metal ones?

For Freestyle, Hockey and Races I use plastic pedalls, for MUni and Trial I used metal pedalls.

Spiky Metal are grippy in the rain, but maybe plastic would be better if there are pedestrians etc about - once I slipped and gashed a bystander's leg. it wasn't such a bad cut - but the noise he made about it!! Tried to get me to give him a few hundred dollars !!!

I did the same thing to my little brother.He made a lot of noise
too(he cried).
I dont have any use for plastic pedals(exept learning how to pedal grab and grind)

I ve hurted myself on metal pedals.

When trying to do a suicide start, one foot slipped off so the pedal flew up and scratched my leg BAD!!!,
so a little tip: use some protection on your legs (I only had shorts)

Got my new DmR V8 pedals today.
AND THEY TOTALLY ROCKS!!
