For those of you who watch Jeopardy you probably know that KEN is the 10 day champ. I think that's a new record.

I thought they only go for 5 days. That's how it is here in the states at least. Where was that?

Ken who?
And apparently they go for more than 5 days now. I know it used to be that way. This is on the U.S. Alex Trebec Jeopardy. We watched it the other night and Jacquie and I got at least one answer that he missed (but not most of the rest!).

I'll be in the corner eating my words. I just watched that guy win the 12th. I think his dollar total is around 400K.
...But can he ride a unicycle

Does it matter? Sure hes not as awesome as us, but he does now have the money to buy a couple thousand unicycles.

Yes, he's currently on 12 wins and $410,000. I don't know if this is a record, but it sure sounds like it. He even got the Final Jeopardy question wrong last night. It doesn't matter when you're ahead by $20,000 or so...

Yeah it seems that every night he's ahead by so much that he couldn't possilby lose without wagering something stupid. He just get so far ahead in the first 2 rounds that he can safely wager a lot in double jeopardies and final jeopardy. Also, he rings in ridiculously quickly. Alex reads the question and the camera shifts to the contestants and his booth is already lit.

See I knew it.
The guy compleatly destroys whole rows and barely ever misses.
I think during the comercial breaks he tells his oppenents how bad he's going to crush them.

ive never seen someone crush the competition like this guy Ken. he has like triple the money of his closest competitor after the first segment.

Eddie is my favorite Jeppardy champ, but I don't think he could take on Ken.

Maybe when he get's off the show they'll make him the host and call it "Win Ken Jennings Money."
I wonder who would win if Ken and Ben Stein went against each other?
Last night he actually had someone gwt over his score for a few seconds. But after that he compleatly crushed them.

Daniel i heard Alex Tribeck say somthing about the season coming to an end soon. i dont think they will let him carry over to the next season.
hopefully Ken will be in the tournement of champions.

I can't see him not being in the Super Tournament. I mean he is just as good as any champions that they put against him. But then again if he loses in the tournament it will be a little strange to see him again as "The Champ". My prediction: They'll have him challenge the two top tournament people and the winner from that will continue onto the next season.

Well,
Apparently Jeproady is going for the record of most game show appearances, the record is 46, from some game in the early 90's, but by the time Ken hits 50, They will probably make him retire with his fat 2mil+ of moneys.

I don't really know but my gut tells me that if this goes on too much longer, then he hurts. After a while boredom will set in. That being said, I watch as often as I can hoping to see someone on who can beat Ken.
As for what will happen to him I doubt they would have mentioned the record if Ken wont have the opportunity to break it. So, even if the season does end today, my guess is that he will return at the beginning of the next.

Ken Jennings Photoshop Competition (http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=1113535)
As an avid Fark lurker(irony) I check everyday to see the PS comps and whatnot for a good laugh This one is actually a prett good overall comp but not the best. If some of the things don't make sense, Its because its farker humor. Oh and you 56Kers might want to be ready to load the page for a while becase the 56K and the loads of images might not mix... But if you have cable(like me) and a semi-decent comp(mine is better) then it'll take a few seconds or so...

Dude, you're completely surrounded.
Ken Jennings seems all right. I just wouldn't go to the movie theater with him. One of his hobbies is to clap real fast whenever a movie's title is said out loud in the movies. With some titles this could get incredibly annoying!
If you click around the Web you can find detailed reports of how Ken's reign is supposed to end. This is apparently leaked information though, as he and other players are under confidentiality agreements. He still has plenty more days to play. I won't give away any of the stuff I read. Go Ken, go!

Very true. If Ken had gotten one of the Double Jeopardy questions right it would have been a runaway at the end in Final Jeopardy.
Nancy is going to have to learn to control the board, especially in the Double Jeopardy round, if she wants to have a winning streak of her own.
Here's an AP news story from Yahoo about his loss: 'Jeopardy!' Whiz Ends 74-Game Win Streak (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041201/ap_en_tv/tv_jennings_loses_16). He gets free tax services from H&R Block for life out of the deal. :) He's also Mormon, so he'll be giving 10% to the church.
I missed his appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman. I didn't know he was going to be on there and I don't usually watch The Late Show.

Nancy lost, what a fluke! No, we're just not used to things being back to normal. Though Nancy will always be famous for "taking Ken Jennings down," all she really did was have more than half his cash amount at Final Jeopardy. Ken did the rest. Even *I* guessed H&R Block, though Jacquie didn't agree, even though she used to work for them.
Also as has been previously mentioned, what really did him in were the two large bites taken out of his score by those two Daily Doubles. It seemed sort of like he was getting tired of it, or that he was being more casual and taking bigger risks.
Then we saw a thing about him and Jeopardy last night on A&E. Not sure if it was Biography or something else, it was more about the show than about him. He mentioned how the LDS church was indeed getting their 10% tithe, so they should be doing justs fine.
