Help with quotes

Is there some trick for quoting small portions of long postings? I've tried highlighting the portion of the text that I want to quote and then clicking on 'quote' but I get the whole post and then I have to highlight and delete the sections I don't want. Is there an easier way?

You can select the portion of the posts that you want to quote and cut that point out. Hit new reply, and the use the vB code that you see when you normally try to quote a person.

Or you can just hit quote to generate a full quote and then edit out the stuff you don't want to quote. That's what I do.

Make sure you don't touch any VB code including the [] that it uses. Or if you want to be fancy, handwrite and/or handedit those VB codes.
