Muddy and brised
The oops count from our ride today was quite high. I upded not 400m from the car hitting the back of my heel with the saddle- ouch, then did it agin in a really deep puddle about 5 minutes later. This time I got COVERED in foul smeling liquid mud, wet arms, legs, shorts,shirt, wristies, the lot. A bit further on Ben's shoe nearly got eaten by the Swamp creature and then Paul twisted his Ankle. All in the first mile of the ride.

Fortunatly things got better after that and we had a good ride in the end, but all got V muddy.

Ben sent a very excited-sounding email with some pictures in, it sounds like it was a good ride! Those stepping stones look like a challenge, but I seem to recall there being rather a lot of them. Hmmm...

I don't suppose you could be persuaded that another reccy ride would be a good thing? Hypothetically speaking, next weekend?

on saturday you up for that phil,sarah and paul? o yeah phil do you have a bike rack yet we have one in the garage would it be ok if my friend comes with a bike?

as things stand at the mo, definatly maybe. I'm keen and don't think I'm doing anything in particular on saturday. If sunday need to be home and clean by 5pm as my parents are coming over.
I'm keen to reccee again as I want to find the fireplace.

yeah i will probally b workin that sun but sat i can do we have to do that end down hill first next time.

I finish work @ one on saturday and sunday..... so am up for a ride both days!
