Is it possible for us to get a thread preview setup Gilby?

isn't that where when you put the cursor over the thread it gives the first line or whatever in a little pop up window

The next version of the forum software used on this site is supposed to be released this next week. So, when I upgrade, I hope to make a lot of changes and fix a lot of the broken things on the site.

there's a local car forum by me, http://www.shiftin.com/forums , they are using vBulletin Version 3.0.0 and it has this functioning. but the language there can be colorful sometimes, not exactly a technical forum, just a warning:)

That forum shows exactly what I'm refering to.
It'd save a lot of time and trouble when it comes to reading posts. I like to skim the first sentence or two and see if it's worth my time to read.

my thread preview is the title or the subject but that preview style looks a little deeper and pretty cool.does it effect 56k users?

It means making the page size bigger because it needs to contain the preview text.
