Am I playing the wrong elastomania? I downloaded it ages ago but have played it for no more than a minute before I decided I didn't like it. It was very bad-cartoon-like, felt like riding a bike on the moon, everything was very sloooow and bouncy, the suspension had so much travel the wheel would come right through the bike and what on earth was that crazy flipping turning manoeuvre?
Didn't like it. Spent much longer playing that java game from DNA (?); that I did like. Was absolutely pants at it to start with, admittedly, but I've played it so much... no, I tell a like, I'm still not very good. But it's still fun.
I haven't played this one, I'll get round to it...

Here here.
There was a much cooler trials biking game posted on this forum a while ago, although still faker than reality, far more realistic than elastowhatever. you actually had to slow/speed, fore/aft, etc.
Far more fun (although, still not 'actually' fun), but I can't remember the name

Urgh! Just tried elastomania. Urgh. Sooo slooow, and why does the geexer decide that taking his handle bars off to adjust his balance is a good idea! And what's with the spinning bladey things.
And if that wasn't bad enough, when i exit the game I find a green colour scheme on windows, and all my desktop icons re-arranged to fit a smaller screen. Now I'm a tolerant person, but some things are just too far....
anyway, this is the one you want (http://www.miniclip.com/trialbikepro.htm) .Although it does have a wierd tendancy to crash java and require restarting youre web browser.

I keep getting 320. How do you make it say something besides "OK?" It needs to say "fantabuluos!!!"
Anyway, penguins are too cool to get hit with bats.

It's a funny game, but theres no way you can compare it to elastomania. The physics model takes some getting used to, and I agree its not a fast game. Its a technical problem solving game, in the same way Trials is technical problem solving unicycling. It's the only game I've played where you actually have a feeling of balance. It's also very expandable. If you buy the full version (which I recommend) you can download a virtually limitless supply of user made levels, many of which are of higher quality than the ones that come with the game.
So if you enjoy that kind of game, I'd give elastomania another chance.

323.5
Also:
Shortest flight (not counting 0) - 65.4
Longest flight that ended in a planted penguin - 207.2
I like this game far more than I should admit.

Oh no, not at all. There is something very therapeutic about abusing a penguin. I can see this game being very popular at Microsoft. Just pretend it's a Linux penguin and hit it really hard.
