true, but what would you rather have, someone comment because you made a thread and they felt they should to be nice or for someone to randomly comment and make your day :)
btw it is very nice but it will never beat my generic mac symbol i stole from some other site:p

Yes, let's please keep the graphics in the sigs to a minimum. I've seen some web forums where people were using several graphics in their sigs and dead links in their sigs. It was all a complete mess and ruined the readability of the forum.
A small, well done graphic in the sig would be OK. But big graphics and multiple graphics in the sig will ruin the readability of the forum.
Keep in mind that some people still use 640x480 or 800x600 desktop sizes. If the graphics are too wide that means they have to scroll side to side just to read a message. Don't make the graphics too wide.
I'd prefer that there were no graphics in the sigs. Have fun with the avatars, but keep the sigs small and simple. If it gets out of hand Gilby could end up turning off the feature that allows graphics in the sigs.

Agreed
edit: several 1600x1200 img sigs will speed up the process ;)
