finally some good music has come down the tube.this is the first album i have bought by a new group in forever.

all my music is by an artist/group that is either dead,retired, or sucks now so i dont by thier stuff anymore.The Darkness is the 1st new band in forever that ive been stoked about.leave to the British to rock!

their debut (permission to land) cd was only $12 retail too...!

ever since the cover craze started (it actually went away, ever?), i've been waiting for unworthy artists to sully the classics
(yeah, i really rate modern/popular musos)
the vocalist for the darkness might just be the only singer i've heard for a while that might have an outside chance of doing a half-decent cover of Deep Purple's 'child in time'

its strange, i know a lot of people who see or hear the darkness and dont enjoy it. furthermore, they cant understand why i am laughing through the entire song. some people just get good comedy...

The dumbest thing happened to one of their songs though, the original words in one song were ......."kiss my arse"..... but they had to change than for the usa to be "kiss my arm". I don't here 50 cent or eminem change their words and some of their songs are way worse than that. the usa is a strange place!
