Gallery search function

Is the Gallery search function gone for good? I don't know if it was intentionally removed or not but I really miss it. Am I the only one?

It was removed as the search index was too big and whenever someone tried to search, it'd error out anyways. I havemade some config changes since then that may make it work now though, so I'll turn it on again and see if it works. I'm really hoping the new version of the software will be out soon as it will then have a mysql backend instead of the flat files that it uses now.

I'm amazed that they used a flat file "database" for the search function. That type of thing just does not scale well.
