newsgroup --> forum connection

The newsgroup to forum connection does not appear to be working. Messages posted to the newsgroup are not making it to the forum.

Klaas Bil has had lost posts when he posts to the newsgroup. I also noticed a post by Nathan Hoover in the "Broken Ankle!" thread that didn't make it from the newsgroup to the forum.

It seems to be working again now. I hope that the two-way connection can (and will) be made stable, there must be some root cause in this?

(It has been stable for a long time, but it seems to me that ever since Gilby was forced to abandon his original (university?) news server the coupling has been down at irregular times. Until now all post propagations have been done as yet AFAIK, but it is a pain to participate in a discussion and no-one reads it for a day. By then everybody has moved on. My remedy is to double-post when needed, not nice either.)

Alas, it only worked for a short while. Now it has been down continuously for about two days. Grrrrr!
