I do not know what this has to do with uni trailers, but it is the only vote that I understood to be possibly relevant to me.

thinuniking, please do not take this as other than constructive criticism. Orthography and punctuation were created for a very good reason. They are to make clear written ideas. Misspellings and poor or lacking punctuation are fine for off-hand comments. If you truly wish to have intelligent responses made to your request, then you would serve yourself well to write complete, well formed sentences and express each idea distinctly.

I would also recommend that you define with specifics and details what you mean by a "uni trailer" and what "dt" stands for. I suspect I'm not the only one who is wondering.

Otherwise you're likely to end up in some God-forsaken place like Salem, Oregon or Jackson, Mississippi. :)

I don't have Ideas as such, but I've (sort of) used a bike trailer on a uni. It was the kind that is attached to a bolt at the rear hub of a bike. On the uni I tied it around the seat tube on my 20".

The big problem was that the trailer kept pushing and pulling at the wheel and it was hard to keep it behind you while riding down hill.

I think a uni trailer might be practical if some sort of automatic breaking system could make sure the trailer didn't start pushing the uni from behind.

It might not be so pushy if you fixed it at the hub instead of on the seat tube. Up high it will tend to push or pull you over; down on the hub it won't affect your balance. In fact it will probably help since the extra mass at the hub will help keep the wheel from scooting out.

Good luck with the trailer,

Tim

Good luck with the trailer,

Tim It wouldn't affect balance if attached to the hub, but it would increase the back force required to maintain control on a downhill: f = mg. However, a brake on the uni would be effective on the trailer as well so a separate brake would probably not be required.
