I just happen to know that my birthdate is wrong. When I went to view my Profile for DJM, it's wrong. It's says December 31, 1969.
When I went to the user cap then Update profile It's right. It should say.... August 14th 1966. I have update the mod's and it's still wrong. Gilby or Jagur or other's, let me know. Can you submit to change that or should I try something different. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

David.

P.s. The calender is right and it never lie's.

Thanks Sendhair, Very Funny. I'll leave it to Gilby or Jagur to have their say. It's East Australia Standard Time Zone. Sydney-Melbourne-Brisbane. Papa New Guiena, Guam etc.

Interesting...

So's mine. However, when I eliminate the year (1961), it shows the correct month and day.(Oct. 15)

Gosh mine is wrong as well. I could swear that it has been displayed correctly in the past. Maybe the forum software has a simple integer counter for date of birth, 1 Jan 1970 being 1 (one), 2 Jan 1970 being 2 etc. And all negative numbers are set to 0 (zero) before calculating the date to be displayed. Just guessing.

I don't understand. How do you view your profile to display the correct date? II I click the [profile] button in one of my own posts that brings up my profile info with the wrong date.

Klaas,

I found two pieces of evidence that the birthdates are being STORED correctly. First, if you edit your profile, the correct date is shown. Second, if you go to the calendar, everything seems correct there too. So, the problem seems limited to the displaying of the birthdate when viewing a profile.

Ahhh I missed the edit bit. I just read your "it is correct in my profile". Indeed it is the same with me. Another Gilby joblet!

Thanks Gilby (maybe it helps to say that?)

Also, I hope he understands that we are the inquisitive type and we are therefore talking about a minor system problem out of curiosity -- not to complain! Perhaps we've debugged it enough to save him a few minutes of time.
