Klass Bil is on my Ignore List. But, I never put him there. When I go to edit it, there aren't ANY names on it, so I can't take him off. Please help.

Must be an act of god or something... ;)

Anyways, how is it that they show up in your ignore list?

Looks like it appears when you are not logged in for posts that came in from the newsgroup. So, just log in and all posts should be displayed then. I'll take a look at the problem later tonight as I am off to NAUCC.

This has started to happen to me, too.

I suddenly find, that without even logging-in, Scott Kurland and Jack Halpern are now on my Ignore List!

I certainly never put them there!

Maybe there is some new "mirror effect" going on here, in which being added to someone else's Ignore List automatically adds them to yours...? :( ;)

Since I have only ever put one username from this forum on my Ignore List, and the common denominator between Scott Kurland, Jack Halpern, and (sometimes, now that he's a registered forum member) Klaas Bil, is that they post from the newsgroup.

Yep! A quick search through the forum shows that all newsgroup posters are on my Ignore List, against my will!

Is this an improved feature of the new server to encourage posters to register, or what?

Rick

(Gilby beat me to this post by minutes... so please IGNORE the redundancy!)

I resolved the same problem moments ago (or Gilby fixed it at the same time).

I went to my ignore list (which is empty) and clicked "submit update". The next thread I looked at showed Klaas's post.:)

I'm having the same problem with Bill Klaas, I tried to do the fix but it didn't work.

Yeah. It must have been a Gilby fix or something. I have another ID that is coming up as ignored and the "fix" doesn't work.

Sorry, everyone, for the mistake.

Why would putting me on anyone's Ignore List be an act of God? What kind of God is that? Watch your words Gilby :p

I did a quick fix for this and went into the code and disabled the ignore code completely, so you should not see any messages saying you are ignoring anyone even if you have them on your ignore list.

Are there any plans to fix the ignore function? It still seems to be non-functional for me.
