No, really! Two black helicopters are circling overhead...

I think it's related to this (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25639). I'm off to hide in a ditch.

With a name like Orin Hatch (http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/internet/06/18/download.music.ap/index.html), you'd think this guy would be the last to worry about somebody downloading his songs from a filesharer.

The next things will be...

Got 3 unpaid parking tickets?
Your car gets nuked by a robot missile.

Mowed your lawn on the Lord's day?
Your power mower automatically turns into a roto-tiller that can't be shut off.

Didn't curb your dog again?
Fido's collar turns into a Golden Retriever garrote.

Books from the library overdue?
The books turn into incendiary devices which burn your house down.

Cut that tag off the new mattress?
The mattress curls up like a python and smothers you in your sleep.

... and it'll serve you right, too! You scofflaw, you!

Well *I* didn't vote for him. . .(Orrin Hatch R-Utah)

I suppose it doesn't help that I'm not 18 yet, but i never download music anyway.

Huh!

ps that lawn-mower/roto tiller thing would be scary... even though I mow on saturday

Hmmm..... Have you been keeping a watchful eye on the Lego Men? Perhaps they've been up to some mischief!

Hmmm... I can't say I have, but I notice that every one of them is grinning... that can't be normal...

Help, I'm feeling threatened by a group of 2" high people!

So how long would this technology of destroying someone's computer be used for legal purposes before someone with technological savvy and a mean streak pirates the techology?
"Gee, so and so really cheesed me off. I think I'll blow up their computer..."

Or before a hacker managed to download Orin Hatch tunes (assuming that anybody's filesharing them!) three times through Orin Hatch's very own Internet connection!
