I like riding in the mud, but the park rangers don't like me tearing up the trail when it's closed. :(
The closest substitute is the fine gravel that they put down around playground equipment, but I fear running into the kids.
It's TONIGHT, dammit, TONIGHT!!! The next time I read "tonite" anywhere on the internet I may just snap...

General complaining:
I've been struggling for more than a week to fight (fite) a cold. No riding, just coughing, sneezing, running nose, sore throat, general drowsiness, the whole spectrum. And all of that time it has been the most exceptionally and stunningly beautiful winter weather in history. :-((

I'd like to complain about the fact that there are now two places to complain.
We need complaint rules.
i thought it was quite clear
this is general complaints
LIVERPOOL IS THE GREATEST TEAM IN THE WORLD AND I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE FACT THAT I ONLY HAVE ONE VOICE TO SHOUT HOARSE FOR THEM
that kind of thing
and the 'other' one, is a very ingeniously designed lightning conductor created by Tylercox to distract the feeblemindeds who have nothing better to do but beat up on him and his posting habits

I wish to lodge a complaint against stumps and large rocks that hide behind bushy ferns on the side of a trail. You're riding along nicely on the MUni. You get a little close to the side of the trail and then BAM! Your foot and pedal make direct contact with the stump hiding behind that fern. Ouch!
I've got a bruised pinky toe on my left foot now thanks to one of those hiding stumps.

I would like to register a complaint about the weather in Massachusetts. For the last 5+ weekends, we have had rain. How am I ever going to be able ride faster than a bicycling 6 year old, on my Coker or leap onto picnic tables in a single bound. We need better weather men and women. Maybe someone that would take a pay off to give us better weather.

It's been raining almost nonstop here in Minnesota this month. Makes it hard to get out and ride. Yesterday, I drove to the muni ride site, with a few ugly clouds above. Felt a raindrop and waited a little while in the parking lot, then it poured. Then it started to hail and I''m sitting in my new truck wondering if it's getting hail damage. The trail was obviously hit and too wet, so i headed back home. The rain stopped then though.

Liver, schmiver, everyone knows that the San Francisco (http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/San-Francisco-49ers) 49ers (http://www.profootballhof.com/history/team.jsp?FRANCHISE_ID=28)
of the 1980s were undoubtedly the greatest team to ever exist (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6781464/) and all other attempts at forming any sort of "team" thereafter are merely pointless. No one watches rugby anyways... (is that what Liverpool does? or are they just another drinking team you guys sing along with at the pubs?)
Sadly, capitalism and "free agency" had its way with the '9ers roster and ever since Jerry Rice put on a Raiders jersey (ewww!), I have yet to take interest in a single NFL game. Bugger 'em all!
...so I took up watching hockey, and now those bickering ninnies can't even get their acts together... for TWO SEASONS RUNNING! WTF!!!1!!1one!

Id like to coplain about the usual. Our toilet is stopped up again, and is overflowing. The roof is leaking, mostly from the toilet. The cat is still stuck behind the fridge, and is meowing crazily. At least the cat is not stuck in the toilet this time. Thats the only good thing I have to say.
The house stinks like toilet, but I have to admit it smells better than when the family of skunks moved into our garage. My computer is spitting sparks at me, It gets upset whenever I dont feed it. The rash inside my nose is getting bigger, it demands more living space. The monster under my computer desk is drooling on my feet, and my feet are freezing. I may get frostbite. The fact that our furnace exploded last night doesnt help the cold. The washing machine is going beserk, I think soon it will join an allience against me with the computer, furnace, toilet and fridge. I fear for my life.
Maybe I'll just go unicycle my troubles away.
EDIT: Dang! Somebody stole my unicycle! Jeez, the crime in this town....

I have found that you can sometimes argue your way out of a "health and safety violation" if you can prove that what is happening is not truly a violation, i.e. a unicycle is NOT a bike. But if you prove that they are wrong they can become nit-picky about other things:(

somebody passed me today on the highway and then proceeded to drive slower than me. I was driving a 140,000 lb truck, and there was just enough traffic that passing them was not an option for me. I just got stuck behind them for about a 1/2 hour.
I can see a little bit on their side; I was accelerating at the time, and 140,000 lbs of grain and steel doesn't accelerate very quickly. I was going approximately 90 km/h when they passed me, but within a mile I was going 110 km/h and was stuck behind them driving slower than that.
Don't pass somebody unless you're going to drive faster than them! The lesson to learn is to have a little bit of patience! Only about 30 seconds would have made the difference!

Nine weeks ago I asked the State Department for a passport so I could go to Paris and visit my sister. They said it would take six weeks. After week six I called and asked about it. After I was on hold for an hour they told me they were projecting 10 weeks and I asked to expedite it. I told them my flight left on March 20th. My flight actually left on March 23rd, but I figured I'd give them a few days.
Well March 22nd they finally looked at my application after numerous calls and one incident in which I was on hold for two and a half hours before they simply hung up on me.
Anyway, I'm not going to Paris.
P.S. They are now projecting 15 weeks for passport processing.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
I really wanted to unicycle the Top of the World Highway from Dawson City, Yukon to Anchorage, Alaska this spring after school and before my work starts. I was so stoked and starting to figure things out until I hit the Alaska Road traveler information Services website which tells me that the Taylor Highway is closed until May 15th. The closed section is only 250 km long but that is a long way to go on a closed highway up north with no chance of a motorist going buy if I injure myself. If I was biking I would still be tempted to do it or if I wasn’t going solo but....THIS SUCKS.
I have no idea when the next time I will have a chance to get to Alaska will be so this might have been my only opportunity to go on an awesome treck in such a crazy awesome area of the world.
I know I would have to be nuts to unicycle the Top of the World highway but I don’t think I am crazy enough to attempt it with 250km of it being closed:mad:

I haven't seen this thread in a while but I can't find my crank extractor!
Not really a big deal but I want to bring in my hub to an LBS so they can build me up a wheel but I doubt that they want to build it around cranks.
My last complaint was much better :) but it did not matter since I busted my shoulder shortly after posting that.
And it is sort of funny since I was considering doing the Dalton Highway this year but now can't make it for other reasons.

I'm seeing this thread anew, and will comment on the first post without trying to be relevant to wherever the discussion's gone since then:
- I need sleep.
- I hate the last week of classes.
- I want my ankle to feel better.
- I need to uni.
- I hate stupid people.
- I want to sleep.
- I hate complaining.
Poor Monkey Juggler!
Go to bed instead of posting here. Deal with your (now long past) last week of classes. They didn't kill you. Stop beating on your ankle and it will feel better faster. Go uni after you've gotten a decent amount of sleep. Hate stupid people all you want. maybe you'll get an ulcer and maybe you won't; meanwhile there will be even more stupid people. Finally, shut up and go to sleep already!
There, I just complained about you. Does that count? :)

Even the thread titles have misspelled words now.
People keep posting links in the Jokes, Photos, and Cartoons threads. These are for Jokes, Photos, and Cartoons, not links.
Polls have not yet died.
Emoticons have not yet died.
On the plus side, I was looking for a crank puller on Sunday when Irene was here and I immediately found not one but two. In your face, Sask. I should probably ship you one.

That is why installment plans were developed. Determine how much you should drink in celebration and spread it out over, say, 20 minutes instead of five.
