 Hi I'm Daniel I'm from Romania studying in Corvallis Oregon School of Ministry. My host family forced me to learn how to ride the unicycle. Now it is my third day and I can freemount sometimes and ride something like 30 meters when I'm lucky .:D
Man it's like an addiction, and I'm already surfing the net for the best ever made unicycle, because I know that may be in a week I'll be bouncing down the trails ! See you !

MnM,
We must be sole brothers- I wanted to be at Unicycling School when my parent forced me to go to Church. Funny how things work out.
Welcome.

Wow, good progress. I've been riding for two weeks, can go 150+ meters, and freemount almost every time, and I wasn't even close to doing as well as you are on my third day!

Listen, Mau Mau, ...
You'll get much more satisfying and lucid replies if you post this type (unicycle-related) on the "Rec.Sport.Unicycling" forum...
"Just Conversation" is supPOsed to be for all the OTHER stuff we like to talk about.
Yes, the Topic Police can strike in ANY direction!
Watch it!

gluteous maximus, thank you for pointing out our mistake, the title of this forum says:
“Just Conversation
Get to know other unicyclists from around the world!”
I’m MauMau’s host and it was on my suggestion that he post here and not in r.s.u. I felt that it was more of an introduction to the community then a unicycle specific post. He had no question for r.s.u just wanted to say hi and I know as a long time lurker how time consuming it is to read 100’s of post a day in r.s.u. This being a smaller more intimate group it seems more appropriate. It’s like a stranger walking into a building with two room, one a large hall full of all sorts of strange people talking loud the other a small lounge of acquaintances relaxed chatting over a few beers. Now that I think about maybe Deutsches Einradforum would have been a better choice.
I read both, so I'm not really bothered what goes where. Although I'm curious...
...full of all sorts of strange people talking...
Which in particular? :D
MauMau - especially if it has the word "unicycle" in, post wherever you like; people read it anyway.
(If this is a "relaxed group of people drinking beer", who's serving?)

muddycycle,
No hard feelings, I hope!:)
It were a joke!:D
Jeez! As a "long time lurker", you ought to know the pitfalls and chasms on this forum!
Please explain it to your friend.
I wasn't serious! I was joshing!
Just a little irony, there, (nudge-nudge!) !;)
Also, his thread was not the only one on which I placed a Topic Police post.
None of the following squads;
Topic Police,
Spelling Police,
Punctuation Police,
Typing Police,
Copyright Police,
Political-Correctness Police,
Royal Canadian Mounted Police,
Multiple-Posting Police,
Obnoxious Little Punk Police,
Police Police,
... or any of the various minor bitching patrols have any clout here whatsoever.
So, no worries, Mau Mau, OK?!!
Watch out for the Spam Police, though!

I'd just like to know, as reported by MauMau, how you compelled (he said "forced") him to unicycle. Were your methods physical or psychological? I need to know how to handle my daughter when her mind wanders from juggling/unicycling to frivolities like friends, music and playing.
Also, for MauMau, do you know of this place? http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/29/international/europe/29ROMA.html?tntemail0

That's RIGHT!
Where, Oh Where, were the Fascist Unicyclist Police?
Or would forcing someone to ride a unicycle fall under the jurisdiction of the Forced-Fun Police?
Vice Squad?
Bicycle Police?

Jagur!
Shame on you! You've gone and made the Spam Police all paranoid!
Well, Officer Harper, sir, since you asked...
The F.O.P. will probably thank you for concealing this evidence... (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=21208)
