would a little bit more avitar space muck up the page loads?if not i think it would be cool to express myself a little more than 50x50.

some forums have them so big that it does slow things a bit but not to much.what do you think?

But then you get into the good old problem of many other fora (forii?) where most of the size of the page is made up of people's avatars, and they take ages to download. Surely you can just make your picture a bit smaller?

Plus, a legoman just fits in 50x50...

Could you please diable the option to put IMG tags in the signature? Nobody has used that feature yet so no one will miss it. I've seen some vBulletin forums where people put several banner graphics in their sig and it doesn't do the forum any good.

I like the 60x60 avatar size. Now I need to re-edit my Guinness glass to fit the larger size.

Cool. I've got a fast link so I don't see things as slow. I like the 60x60 avatar. When I put on my old geezer reading glasses I can see some detail. Mine has a unicycle on it because this is a unicycling forum, not a BEER forum or a MICHAEL JACKSON forum or "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" forum.

I say we all nab the same photo of Gilby off the web and resize it and EVERYBODY use it as their avatar. Then he'd let us bump it up to 61x61 or maybe even that glorius power of 2, 64x64. We're all adults....we can talk binary here.
