The Ascii pallett died years ago, expanding to become UniCode. As much as you may like to form pictures in Ascii, you are, in fact, UniCoding.

No joke, but a fine pun.. ;P

Actually, I do have some time on my hands. The other day my uni broke, so now I have nothing to do until my new one comes in...

And the 'hi' thing only took about one or two minutes to make. It wouldnt have looked so warped because originaly instead of periods there were spaces, and when i posted it seemed as though the spaces were gone, so I had to add the periods.... oh wait, i just remembered, i do have something better to do. crap , i've got two essays due monday....no more Ascii art for me.

Ya -no more since the early 90's (say, 92', 93'). Unless you are employing a pre Windows 95 or OS2 operating system, you are using UniCode. I suppose you could restrain yourself to characters that didn't exist or weren't recognised before 1988, in which case it would be a statement of style -say, like 'Pre-Raphaelite'. In which case it would UniCode art done in Classic Ascii...
