Atomic Laboratories Aircorp pedals can open a bottle of (root) beer too. Shinburgers aren't the only cool pedals that can help you celebrate after a ride.
Henry Weinhard's Root Beer has a twist off cap, but I decided to have a little fun and use my Aircorp pedal to open it up. Worked great, and the root beer float was great too.
Here's a link to the Shinburger opening a beer

And here is an attached pic of the Aircorp opening a (root) beer

John-
Thanks for another important technical contribution. The photograph which includes your unicycle and root beer rather than a bicycle and real beer is much more appealing.

I'm still root beer less. Those bastards. I need to find a good pair of pedals that can open a bottle of beer too. Watch out for Sam Adam's Summer Ale, that tastes like burnt toast.
FatBMX announced (http://www.fatbmx.com/news.php?page=http://www.fatbmx.com/news/200109/news.html) in 2001 a bottle-opener on the stem of FBM bmx (http://www.fbmbmx.com/)'s

The picture of the BMW (Brooklyn Machine Works) Shinburger pedal being used to open a bottle of beer is no longer on the Brooklyn Machine Works (http://www.brooklynmachineworks.com/) web site. I found a smaller version of the photo on MTBR (http://www.mtbreview.com/reviews/Pedal/product_22385.shtml). It's not as big as the original, but it will have to do.
