View Full Version : So, uh, where did my avatar disappear to?

I don't see my well-formed avatar! If this is a result of censorship, I must protest. It was hardly an obscene image, quite clean, in fact. Also, to my mind, it represented a sort of primal icon for unicyclers. It was an image of one of our most important physical assets! Without it, at least half of the posts on this forum would never have been generated because nobody would have any reason to discuss saddles. I feel like Peter Pan without his shadow! Oh, woe is me! :(

Hey! I'm not kidding about this!
I didn't remove my avatar, somebody else did.
Could that somebody tell me why?
There was no warning or anything. Just, suddenly, my avatar was gone. I'd put it back, but I'd like to know if it's Ok first.

i to noticed the missing cheeks yesterday.it was in the morning about 9am or so.
what you sould do is put up some temporary cheeks, possibly with pants up (so as not to offend)then if still nobody fess's up,i'd say go for it again.
it seems to me that you sould have got a private message or somthing before it just got yanked.
i guess it could have been jealousy,it was pimple free

It was most likely deleted because it was found inappropriate for the board.

Ok, I have taken Jagur's suggestion, (thanks for noticeing!) and re-set my avatar. Let's see how long it lasts.
from AccordNSX Clueless as to what the hell you are talking about.
but then,
also from AccordNSX It was most likely deleted because it was found inappropriate for the board.
Which is it, oh broken neck teen miss with an over decorated foreign sportscar and nothing to do so gets an honorary forum administratorship? If you know something, spill your guts, please.
Also, per Jagur's advise, I checked for private messages and there aren't any.
Maybe I'll switch to the coppertone girl's buttocks for my avatar.
Here's an interesting link for those of you who are interested in computer graphics. change-o-rama (http://www.assmorph.com/)

I don't see what you're trying to attempt by attacking me personally. I had nothing to do with the removal of your avatar. It's possible that a user(s) found it inappropriate and reported it to gilby for removal. And to be honest, I myself don't find the need for it on the board either.
And for the record; my car is a 4-door family sedan.

It was removed by me because some people do read these forums from work and it's not a good thing to have on the screen when the boss comes up. It's also just plain ugly. You have no private messages because you have that disabled, so I sent an email to you which you apparently did not get.

How long was the image in place before being removed? I use a
newsreader and don't see any images at all. Since I've missed it,
perhaps you could send it to me at: alan.chambers@vemis.com
Thanks.

Arnold, you can see the image if you go to this site:
It only hurts when I sit down (http://www.assmorph.com/)
The bottom left corner set of thrusters (the ones that arenn't flabby) is (was) me.
I'm outta here.

Hmm... a wholly worthwhile project, I'm sure. :-)
My boss would object far more to the fact of my
reading the news than to images such as this
appearing while doing it. In fact, I think I may
morph his face for my colleagues' amusement...
Just my 2p.
