      Looking closer at those photos (particularly this one), are you already missing some important screws?

        Ha, yes. That was a problem. When the last one of those falls out you are stuck permanently in high gear. Good eyes!

            I guess we got ~10% of the currently existing Muni hubs by now, in 9 days only! Let's see how many more we will catch over the next months.

                    * I may have had hub #00012, but I could be wrong. Florian swapped the first generation innards for me, and I thought I had this #, but I'm probably confoosing things. Dave Bagley and I ordered our Schlumpfs around the same time.

                              I know it's probably a fairly small sample from which to extrapolate the data, but I find the demographics interesting. For example;

                              Standard hub; 25% in UK, 63% USA, 12% Canada (No others in the rest of Europe)

                              Muni hub; 37% Germany, 26% USA, 5% UK, 31% rest of Europe

                              Considering that this is predominately an English speaking forum, I'm pleasantly surprised by the results here from the Germans, Dutch, Austrians and Swedish for the Muni hub. But it does make me wonder if there are more European owners of the standard hub? And why has the new hub been so successful on the continent? And of those sold in the US, why is the standard hub predominantly on the East Coast, but the Muni hub is West Coast?

                              STM

                                Regarding the Germans and Austrians: that thread was started by a German who made some marketing for it in the German forum (see this thread). Additionally there's quite an active Schlumpf hub discussion ongoing in the German forum (see here), so most of the German and German speaking Schlumpf riders are tuned at the moment.

                                And why has the new hub been so successful on the continent?
                                Florian Schlumpf is Swiss based, i.e. in the middle of Europe. He is quite active promoting his hubs at European events. I know from German dealers that they could sell more of these hubs if they only would get some. But Florian is not able to produce them fast enough. So there are several people preregistered and waiting for a hub currently.
