    • 50th Bob Cook Memorial Mt. Evans Hillclimb

Super stoked to have success again on North America's highest paved road. Mount Evans is the road into the sky, topping out at 14,240', (4341 meters). Just under 7,000', (2134 meters) of ascending. I passed through 3 life zones; passing ancient trees, lakes and forest to the land above timberline. Mountain Goats and Bighorn Sheep greeted us at the top of the world. Summit weather was best ever; no threat of lighting or rain. Spent time on summit with good friend Jerry from Florida; he was training for Ironman 70.3 world championships in Austria, happening this Sunday. Grateful

        • Oh boy ! Those are great pics guys.

This is my offering from my hols 2 months ago.
Hubbs and I toured the Highlands of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides for a few weeks in June.

We passed over the Kylesku bridge on the A894. Some of you will have seen the fastastic you tube video from the Team Voodoo guys. One of their riders unicycles over the bridge on the handrail............

Well, I thought 'I've just got give that a go!"
So I did, but I stayed on the road

                • the ride was only around the shop. Owner is strengthening her legs up to ride her unicycle, you certainly have to have your wits about you to steer.

What brand of Cranks and lengths are you using for these monster climbs?

                          • Alucard, you should have said you were heading up to Skye. You probably went past where I stay in Argyll.
I got a nice picture yesterday. I'm away with work this week at the Mull of Galloway & brought my impact athmos down (I didn't have space for my 24"!). So I got a picture riding at the southernmost point in Scotland with the cliffs & lighthouse in the background, but can't upload it as the image is too big. I'll have to edit or when I get home.
