• Unicycle day 2nd December

The second unicycle day at Stourport is coming up rapidly, it will be on
Saturday 2nd December.

Having attended that last one, I can say that the event has a wide appeal and
was great fun.

IUF skill level testing will take place through the day with the only UK tester,
Stuart Allbrighton from Isle of Wight.

The venue: Stourport High School Gym, Windermere Way, Stourport-on-Severn,
Worcestershire.

Cost: 5

Provisional programme:
10.00am - 12.00am Standard Skills & Workshops
11.00am - 2.00pm Artistic Skills & Workshops
12.00pm - 4.00pm Unicycle Hockey
13.00pm - 6.00pm Free time/Practice
14.00pm - 7.00pm Food/Chips
15.00pm - 8.00pm Uni Games
16.00pm - 10.00pm Group Freestyle Practice & Free Space

Sunday: If you want to make a whole weekend of the event and possibly do some
Trapeze then stay on the Sunday!

There will also be raffles, games, falling over, silliness, videos, music, Uni
stuff for sale, etc.

I am unable to get to this one :-( I will be at the one after though. I wish I
could get to it..... the last one was well organised and great fun. My Hockey
skills have improved immensely - I actually feel that I can dribble a ball now!

I didn't think I'd be able to make it to this one but it looks like I'd be able
to get there in time for the hockey. Now I know timetables like this are
flexible but if someone can *guarantee* that the hockey won't start before 2pm
(or that I can join in at 2pm if it starts earlier), I'll be there. :-)

Regards, Mark.

'> Does anyone have a good source for cycle shorts? You used to see these at\n> discount places like Walmart, but now that I actually WANT some, no more.\n\nI have been very pleased with Performance brand bike shorts. I have a 3 yr old\npair of their "century" brand that that are still in great shape and very comfy.\nI have also used Nashbar shorts, and Bellweather shorts priced the same as\nPerformance and haven\'t liked them as much, but they aren\'t too bad... I\'d rate\nNashbar a little better than Bellweather.\n\nSierra Trading Post also sometimes has good close-out deals on some expensive\nstuff like Pearl Izumi.\n\n-Rick\n'
