    * Sounds great, how about Friday night after or during the long races. Any other
suggestions? Maybe we could have a message announced over the PA that we are
    meeting at a certian place.

Sounds good, I'm checking to see what's available. Hey.... what about a
      terminal room at NUM? :-)

The President of the USA (what a country we live in, where just anyone
can become President of the USA :-), suggests:

        1) We shouldn't schedule a get-together during the long races, as
we shouldn't be disrespectful to anyone who is participating in
        said race, and

        2) We souldn't schedule a get-together during the period
3:30 PM to 10:00 PM Friday night, as that is the time slot for the USA
Annual Meeting, and to schedule a competing event would be
        disrespectful to the President!

        4) We might consider a get-together *after* the scheduled end of the
        Annual Meeting.

        5) We might consider a get-together during dinner (but my memory of last
year's NUM was that dinner time may be used to catch up on schedule
slippages), assuming that the interested parties have purchases the
        meal package.
