    I deleted that Key Jerrick and went to the adobe site to install the Flash Player.
    Then I got this installation completion movie.
    So I have the Flash Player.
    But it doesn't work on Youtube and the Koxx-one site.

      OK more wierd stuff.
      I go to Youtube and on the beginpages there a movie on the right about how to put movies ont he site.
      I can play that movie, and it's flash.
      On the other hand, when I try to open a movie on that site but then it says: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player."
      It's getting wierder and wierder.

        The most effiecient way to detect flash is with flash. Using javascript of AJAX is asking for horror.

        Does unicycle.net work for you?
        Does this movie display?

          Wierd stuff, because I can't enter the Koxx one site and watch You-tube movies.
          BTW: die site kende ik nog , we hebben elkaar in Neerpelt nog ontmoet.

              That doesn't mean the flashplayer is not functioning or malfunctioning.

              So the flashplayer IS working, and those sites just require JavaScript without detecting the settings first.
              Tada:
              Code:
              <!-- snip from koxx-one.com -->
              <script type="text/javascript" src="flashobject.js"></script>
              ...and you-tube is a whole bunch of useless JavaScript.

              To solve the problems;
              - ask those sites to get a better developper
              or
              - turn JavaScript on

              This issue makes me wonder something irrelevant; what was the time on the clock somewhere in the background of in the menu of unicycle.net? I guess 12:00?

                  All my computers are in EN-US. Though I've had Linux in Flamish ("prullenman kuisen" e.d.). So I can't help you other then repeating John's advice:

                  Extra -> Internet Opties -> Tap: Beveiliging -> press something like "normaal niveau" (and so not "aangepast niveau").
                  Then continue to tap: "geavanceerd" and there again choose to restore the default level.

                  Funny I (nerd) didn't expect that to work without JavaScript but it does.

                      If the according the browser setting JavaScript should work, I (again) get the feeling something else is blocking it. For that reason I wanted to test what other browsers do (which -no problem- was not OK with parents).

                      I don't know and don't think so, just a half-blind guess, but might

                        If you make your new account an Administrator account you'll be able to see your old "My Documents" hierarchy and be able to copy all the files from there to your new account. Administrators can see all other user accounts on the computer. Limited users can only see their own account files. This is assuming you're using NTFS which can do directory permissions. FAT32 is a free-for-all with permissions.

                        I'm in the middle of moving and don't have Internet access at my new place yet. I'm not going to be able to keep an eye on the forum for a couple days or whenever the phone company can get the internet hooked up.

                            Great that means:
                            - javascript works WITHOUT flash
                            - javascript works WITH flash commanded fromout the flash.
                            - you have an even newer plugin-version than I have myself

                            Now please visit again the very same page but over a non-secure connection.
