I like their live stuff just after Gabriel departed, when the band was still playing all his stuff, but with Collins singing. At that time, Collins wasn't yet so high on himself, wasn't too cool to play the drums, wasn't yet interested in sacrificing all for the Hits. He was never as creative as Gabriel, but he was always a much more powerful singer (IMO). Seconds Out is a GREAT album--certainly one of the classic live rock albums--and it's all about Collins delivering on Gabriel material.

O yeah, to the tread: Airplaine is to Starship as Lynyrd Skynyrd is to Rossington-Collins.

I just grabbed it from P2P.

The Orgy version is better to listen to. But it is still a dance song. I wonder how it would sound if U2 did it?

                Genesis

Genesis was indeed at there finest in the early Phil Collins stuff. Trick of The Tail and Wind and Wuthering are their best albums.

Yeah, as opposed to "Knock Three Times on the Ceiling", which is a really BAD song to get stuck in your head.

                      Hmmm...inspiration perhaps.

Damn is a curse word. I believe "potty talk" is broken down into three major categories:

Profanities such as saying " Jesus Christ!" as an inappropriate exclaimation.
Vulgarities such as Sh**, F*#&, and the multiple sexual reference words.
Cursing such as Damn and its variations.

Whether you find certain Profanities, Vulgarities, or Curses offensive and others not is another matter.

                              BACK TO ON TOPIC:

Coming home from Uni practice last week I hit the radio button for our local hard rock station (Hard rock/metal, not classic, easy, oldies, etc).

There was a song with a real driving, heavy metal chord progression that sounded familiar and I quickly realized it was a version of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in The Wall" (Hey Teacher, leave those kids alone) that I had never heard.

I thought it may be a cover until the guitar solo came on and it sounded spot on with the original. Even the "kids choir" section sounded original.

I have tried to call the station but they never seem to answer when I'm thinking about it.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Is it another Pink Floyd recording? Live perhaps? A cover? Where is this one from?
